Local Bank Employees Raise $1,000 for Charity

Employees of Community First Bank in Stevens Point have raised $1,000 for the Salvation Army of Portage County. 

Salvation Army Director Bob Quam was on hand for the check presentation last week. It’s the latest of dozens of similar large donations publicized since the group’s largest fundraising drive kicked off November 10.

The campaign came to a close on Dec. 23.

This year’s fundraising goal for the Salvation Army is $175,000. The total amount raised has not yet been announced.
