Live2Lead offers leadership tools during half-day conference

A series of motivational speakers will appear at SentryWorld on Oct. 11 to discuss leadership development.
Speakers at this year’s event include New York Times best-selling authors Rachel Hollis and John C. Maxwell; Angela Ahrendts, former Apple executive; Marcus Buckingham, billed as a “global researcher and thought leader,” and Chris Hogan, an expert on building wealth and retirement.
Live2Lead is a half-day leadership and personal growth event held at various locations across the country. The event is sponsored locally by the Portage Co. Business Council and Heartland Leadership Initiative.
This year’s event will offer leader development experience “designed to equip you with new perspectives, practical tools, and key takeaways,” according to a news release from Heartland.
The event will take place at SentryWorld, 601 N. Michigan Ave. from 7:15 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Registration is $69 per person or $45 per person in groups of eight or more. Students will be charged $35 per person.
Breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee.
