Dennis J. Fredrickson, 69

Dennis J. Fredrickson, age 69, passed into the arms of his loving Lord and Savior on August 5, 2021.

Dennis was born December 15, 1951, the son of Raymond and Ruth (Johnson) Fredrickson, Junction City, Wisconsin. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1970 and enlisted in the U.S. Army that same year.

He served in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division and was honorably discharged in 1972.

Dennis was employed in the transportation industry for many years. He eventually became an owner/operator driver for his brother at Mark’s Transportation, where he worked until retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel (Hightower); children Kevin and Amanda (with former wife, Shin Fredrickson); siblings, Donna (John) Koutre, Mark (Bonnie) Fredrickson; and David (Jean) Fredrickson; brother-in-law, Mark Grahl; step-children Dominique, Cynthia, Samuel, and Anthony; five step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol (Grahl); Godson, Daniel Martens; and brother-in-law, Jim Walkush. We know they are rejoicing, and welcoming him home.

Graveside services will be at noon, Saturday, August 14 at Runkel Cemetery, 4090 County Road H, Junction City. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at Brookridge Church, 1500 Hoover Avenue, Plover, Wis., 54467.
