Cynthia “Cindy” L. Makuski, 42
Cynthia “Cindy” L. Makuski, 42, of Stevens Point, passed away late Thursday afternoon, December 28, 2023, at her home.
Cindy was born June 1, 1981 in Stevens Point.
She is the daughter of Mary (née Hedrington) Makuski of Stevens Point and the late Richard “Rick” Makuski.
She attended local grade schools, graduating from Lincoln High School and obtained an Associated Degree from UW- Stevens Point in Criminal Justice.
Cindy was currently working at Aspirus – St. Michael’s Hospital in Environmental Services.
In her free time Cindy enjoyed reading, doing puzzle books and spending time with friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Cindy’s name will be established at a later date.
Survivors include her two children: Hailey Makuski of Oshkosh and Lucus Makuski of Plover; her mother Mary Makuski of Stevens Point; nephews Bradley Makuski and Richard Makuski, IV, both of Stevens Point, and numerous other family members.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father Richard Jr., and her brother Richard, III.
A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Mak’s Bar, 1236 County Rd. HH in Stevens Point from noon until 6 p.m.
