Registration opens for MREA’s annual Rise Up & Race 5K

Custer — The Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) will kick off its 33rd Annual Energy Fair with the Rise Up & Race 5K on June 22, 2024, at the MREA headquarters in Custer.
Participants of all abilities are invited to run, jog, skip, or walk the scenic course before joining the festivities at the Energy Fair. The family-friendly race begins at 8 a.m., with arrival time at 7:30 a.m.
Registration is $28 per participant and includes a timed race and a T-shirt. Unique prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.

The MREA is a non-profit organization founded in 1990 to promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration. It works with partners across the Midwest to expand renewable energy adoption through innovative programs, training, and events.
