CREATE schedules informational meeting on 3-D printing

CREATE Portage County is kicking off 2020 in 3-D.

Leaders from the Idea Center, 1039 Ellis St., will host a special meeting on Thursday, Jan. 16 to discuss the center’s various 3-D printers, and how they can be used by members or potential members.

“3-D modeling is not only an asset for modeling, product design, and art, but is an engaging and enjoyable talent,” a news release from CREATE reads in part.

The meeting is open to anyone who has an interest in using the 3-D printers, or who would like to learn the basics of 3-D printing.

The first “user meet-up” will be held at 6 p.m. in the Collaboration Room of the Idea Center.
