County removes some seasonal weight restrictions Thursday

The Portage Co. Highway Department is removing seasonal weight restrictions on April 21.

Restrictions will be removed on all county trunk highways located east and south of the Wisconsin River. County trunk highways west of the Wisconsin River will remain posted until conditions change.

The weight restrictions are removed for county trunk highways only; any restrictions on state, city, village, or town roads are overseen by individual municipalities.
