Bus. 51 remains open through HH construction

Crews from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation have closed County Hwy. HH to the east and west of Bus. 51—but the main road between Stevens Point and Plover is still open.
WisDOT closed off County Hwy. HH/McDill Ave. to the west, and County Hwy. HH/Water St. to the east, of the Bus. 51 intersection on June 26. Crews will be completing paving operations for several weeks.
During the closure, northbound and southbound traffic on Bus. 51 will not be able to turn onto County HH, according to a news release from WisDOT.
County HH east side of Bus. 51 is expected to reopen on July 10. The west side of County HH is expected to reopen July 24.
A detour route will be marked, taking motorists through a series of side streets.
County HH westbound
Hoover Rd. to Industrial Ave./Patch St., then to Michigan Ave., Bus. 51, and Nebel St., and back to HH.
County HH eastbound
Nebel St. to Bus. 51, then to Michigan Ave., Industrial Ave./Patch St., then to Hoover Rd. and back to County HH.
