Police seek whereabouts of suspects in fatal assault

Stevens Point police need help from the public location two suspects in Friday’s fatal beating that took the life of a 61-year-old man.
The victim has now been identified as Donald G. Mitchell Jr., who was a resident of the Stevens Point area. He was not known to the suspects, who assaulted him in a downtown parking lot.
Mitchell was beaten to death after an encounter with four young men from the Wausau area. One suspect, 18-year-old Christian Emerson, was ordered held on a $50,000 cash bond on Monday.
A second suspect, Brandon L. Boehm, 20 of Wausau, turned himself in to Probation and Parole in Wausau on Tuesday.
Two additional suspects are at large. Arlin O. Sangster, 20, of Wausau; and Daemon Kitzrow, 20, of Rothschild, are still wanted by police.
