Registration opens for Mashers youth football

Registration is now open for the Point Mashers Youth Area Football 2023-24 season.
Play is open to athletes entering third through sixth grades. All first-year players must undergo a complete sports physical and bring the paperwork with them during equipment pick-up.
New this year, the Mashers league is considering adding a tackle/travel league for fourth graders, provided enough players sign up.
Players in grades 3 and 4 will participate in ultimate flag football, a no-tackle league combining the elements of flag and tackle football. Players will wear a helmet and pads during practices and games while developing their skills and agility. The fee is $100 to register by Aug. 1.
Tackle football is open for students in grades 5 and 6. The registration fee for the travel league is $130 by Aug. 1. Teams will travel to at least three away games to other central Wisconsin communities.
