Margaret R. Kaetterhenry, 86

Margaret R. Kaetterhenry, age 86, of Stevens Point passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her residence in the care of her family.

Margaret was born October 28, 1937 in Wisconsin Rapids to Victor and Olga Accola. She married David Kaetterhenry on July 5, 1958 in Wisconsin Rapids. Margaret lived a full life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker.

Margaret spent many years as a bookkeeper for her husbands’ oil company and teaching piano lessons. Margaret loved to play piano, crochet, play cards with her husband and grandchildren, bake, connect with friends, and most importantly, spend time with her Savior through Bible studies, prayer group and church.

Margaret is survived by her husband: David Kaetterhenry of Stevens Point, children; Konnie (Kelly) Kohnen of Plover, Lorie (Mark) Henke of Powell, Wyo., Dean (Donna) Kaetterhenry of Plover, Jennifer Kaetterhenry of Zenia, Ohio, Michele (Kevin) Gunderson of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren; Felicia (Peter) Gremmer, Keenan Henke, Kasey Henke, Jaimee (Kyle) Dallman, Dexter (Sarah) Kaetterhenry, Kyle Henke, Kale (Rissa) Henke, Paris Gunderson, Logun Gunderson, Makala Gunderson, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters; Marion Teske and Phyllis DeRoche, brother-in-law: Jay Kaetterhenry (Shirley), and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Olga Accola; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A heartfelt and loving thank you Heartland Hospice and Aspirus Cancer Center for their care and compassion for Margaret and her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Margaret can be made to Brookridge Church (Children/Youth Ministries), 1500 Hoover Road, Plover, Wis., 54467.

Funeral Services for Margaret will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Brookridge Church, 1500 Hoover Ave., Plover. Visitation at the church on Saturday will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Brian Richard will officiate.
