Joshua Vyse, 40

On Sunday, May 14, 2023, Josh passed away unexpectedly in a work-related accident at the age of 40.

Josh was born on April 23, 1983, to David Vyse and Alex Fraiser. Josh grew up in Columbus, Wis., and later resided in Amherst Junction.

Josh met the love of his life on June 25, 2015. On Nov. 7, 2018, Josh got engaged to Erica Wendt. They raised three children, Adaila, Evelyn, and Rodney. Josh also had four other children — Riley Frederickson, Xavier Vyse, Caden Bagneski, and Carmine Bagneski — who resided with their mothers.

Josh enjoyed playing video games on his phone and Xbox. He loved spending time with Erica and the kids as often as he could when he was not working at the mill.

Josh also spent countless hours helping Randy and Robin Oliver on the farm. He was a hard worker who was knowledgeable and very well-respected.

Josh would do absolutely anything to help where he could. He was known for being one-of-a-kind and telling it like it was.

Josh was preceded in death by his father, David Vyse.

Josh is survived by his mother, Alex Fraiser; his brothers, Michael, Stephen, and Matthew; and his sisters, Jill, Sarah, and Jessica.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-7 p.m. on June 29, 2023, at Rookies Sports Pub, 3425 Church St., Stevens Point.
