Wanted man surrenders to police Tuesday morning

Stevens Point police say a man wanted in connection to several felonies has turned himself in.

Douglas Bredlau, 42, was considered armed and dangerous until he surrendered Tuesday morning at 10:04 a.m.

Lt. Joe Johnson from SPPD said Bredlau had an active arrest warrant on numerous charges related to stalking, intimidation of a victim, disorderly conduct, among others.

SPPD issued an alert seeking help from the public in location Bredlau on Dec. 18. Less than 24 hours later, Bredlau presented himself at the police station on Michigan Ave.

Bredlau will see a judge for bond on Dec.20.
