The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin is accepting scholarship applications now through Feb. 15 from Central Wisconsin students planning to attend college in the 2024-25 school year.

Built through donations from across Portage and Waushara counties, the Foundation will distribute more than $260,000 to area students. Eligible scholarship applicants include graduating high school seniors in the Stevens Point Area, Rosholt, Wautoma, and Wild Rose school districts.

District current college students, non-traditional students and graduate students who are pursuing higher education at a university, technical college, or professional school, can also apply.

All students are encouraged to apply here.

Additionally, community grant applications will be taken from Jan. 1-31. The Community Foundation funds projects up to $25,000 that support community programs or projects that benefit Portage and Waushara counties.
