Dog club donates to Patriot K9s organization

The Central Wisconsin Dog Sports Club recently made a large donation to an organization that supports veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

The Club held a fundraiser during a September dog show event in honor of Shirley Dillenbeck, a club member who unexpectedly died in July.

Proceeds from the memorial fundraiser totaled $2,008, which was donated to Patriot K9s of Wisconsin. The organization provides support dogs to disabled veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, and other conditions.

The Central Wisconsin Dog Sports Club combines the Central Wisconsin Kennel Club and the Sent Work Club of Central Wisconsin into one large organization.

Through its membership, the Club serves the canine community in Central Wisconsin by providing a variety of activities, sports, competitions, evaluations, and training and education. For more information click here.
