Riverfront Arts Center seeks submissions for 25th annual Visions Fine Art Exhibit

Artists are invited to submit their work for the Riverfront Arts Center’s 25th annual Visions Fine Art Exhibit, a juried show open to all themes and media. The exhibit, sponsored in memory of Wilma L. Pfiffner, will award $600 in cash prizes.

This year’s juror, Deborah Wage, will select one artist for a $300 Best in Show Award and additional artists for a $100 Honorable Mention Award. Submissions will be accepted on Thursday, May 30, and Friday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Riverfront Arts Center. Digital submissions are accepted under special circumstances.

The opening reception for Visions XXV will be held on Thursday, June 13, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the exhibit running through Sunday, August 4. The Riverfront Arts Center, located at 1200 Crosby Ave. in Stevens Point, is open to the public free of charge, and donations are always welcome.

Gallery hours are Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The center is closed on holidays and between exhibits.
