Hazardous weather outlook issued for Portage Co.

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Portage County and the surrounding areas.
Today and Tonight:
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to bring moderate to heavy rainfall. Portage County is at significant risk, with potential total rainfall nearing 2 inches. This could cause minor river and stream flooding, as well as flooding in low-lying and poorly drained areas.
Wednesday through Monday:
Gusty south winds and high waves will persist on Lake Michigan beaches into early Wednesday morning, creating a continued high risk of rip currents.
Another round of thunderstorms is anticipated from late July 4th through Friday night, with heavy rainfall likely on Friday.

Spotters are encouraged to report any flooding or rainfall exceeding 1 inch to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
