Portion of Maria Dr. to close on Wednesday

Maria Dr. will close between Prentice and Vincent streets on Wednesday, May 29.

The closure is necessary for pavement removal, according to the city’s public works department.

It’s part of the north side street improvement project on Vincent St. that began on May 13 and includes underground utility installation.

Local traffic will be permitted when possible, but access may be intermittently restricted. Once utility installation is complete, the road will reopen with a gravel surface until paving is complete.

Motorists should take an alternate route and allow for extra travel time.
