cwACT to bring ‘The Merry Wives of Windsor’ to Schmeeckle

Stevens Point — The Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater (cwACT) will stage its 4th annual “Schmeeckle Shakes” production of William Shakespeare’s “The Merry Wives of Windsor” this August.

Set in the 1960s, the play promises a comedic journey with Sir John Falstaff attempting to woo two married women to gain access to their husbands’ wealth.

The production, taking place at the Pankowski Friends Amphitheater in the scenic Schmeeckle Reserve, will open with a Luau Dinner on Friday, August 16. Tickets for the dinner and show combo are priced at $30 and must be pre-ordered by Tuesday, August 6. The amphitheater is located at 2419 Northpoint Dr.
