City seeks volunteers for Riverfront

Riverfront Rendezvous is seeking volunteer groups to operate beverage tents during the July 4th weekend festival. The ideal candidate is a local non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, or civic group that can provide 16 volunteers daily for all three days of the event.

Individual volunteers and multiple organizations are also welcome to apply. The fundraising opportunity has historically generated over $3,000 for participating groups.

Specific shifts and volunteer needs are:

Thursday, July 4th:

• 11:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: 3 volunteers per tent (North and South)
• 4:45 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: 6 volunteers at South Tent, 4 volunteers at North Tent

Friday, July 5th:

• 4:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.: 3 volunteers per tent (North and South)
• 6:15 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: 6 volunteers at South Tent, 4 volunteers at North Tent

Saturday, July 6th:

• 11:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: 3 volunteers per tent (North and South)
• 4:45 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: 6 volunteers at South Tent, 4 volunteers at North Tent
