Zachary J. Deyo, 28

Zachary James Deyo, 28 years old, passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2021.

He was born on December 21, 1992, to Edward Deyo and Susan Deyo. Zac grew up in Amherst, Wis. graduating from Amherst High School in 2012.

He then settled down in Stevens Point with his loving girlfriend, Lacey, and their dog, Asker; and enjoyed his job at Fahrner Asphalt Sealers.

Zac took pleasure in nature and the outdoors, listening to loud music, watching the Packers, but most of all, spending time with his family. Zac lived each day to its fullest extent. He had such an ability to bring happiness and laughter to others, and such a bright future. His carefree, contagious smile could make anyone feel at ease. The world is a lesser place without him.

Zac was preceded in death by his older brother, Josh Deyo; uncle, Tom Deyo; aunt, Kathy Deyo; both paternal and maternal grandfathers, Gerry Deyo and James Miller; and grandmother, Jean Deyo.
He is survived by both of his parents and stepmom Chrissy; his sister, Emily; two stepbrothers, Jordon and JT; nieces, Autumn, Lexus, Brooklyn, and Mary Jane; nephews, Ryker and Clyde; special Aunt Becky and Uncle Greg; grandmother, Bernadine; Granny Dee; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at the Jensen Community Center, 487 N. Main St. Amherst, Wis. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Jensen Community Center in Amherst, Wis.

The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
