The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced construction plans for the week of June 3, as phase three of the Bus. 51 reconstruction project in Plover/Whiting begins taking its final shape.

Crews will complete the new eastbound pavement on County Hwy. HH from Lower Whiting Park through the Locust St. intersection with County HH/McDill Ave.

The concrete for the Willow and Cedar street intersections on the east side of Bus. will also be replaced.

Crews will continue grading for a sidewalk along the new northbound lanes on the east side of Bus. 51, and begin landscaping restoration from McArthur Way to 700 feet north of Porter St. on Bus. 51 northbound, and in the two infiltration ponds at Elm and Cedar streets.

Motorists should continue to use caution in work zones.
