BOUNDARY ROAD (LAUER 1) LANDFILL SUPERFUND SITE COMMUNITY ADVISORY GROUP (CAG) INFORMATION MEETING

The DNR and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are holding a public meeting to provide information on creating a Community Advisory Group (CAG) regarding the Boundary Road (Lauer 1) Landfill Superfund Site.

A CAG consists of an advisory panel comprised of community members and other stakeholders affected by an EPA National Priorities List site. A CAG facilitates the exchange of information about site activities to the community and other stakeholders. Although a CAG does not make decisions, its input may help inform site decisions made by the DNR and EPA.

PUBLIC HEARING ON A PERMANENT RULE (WA-18-21) AFFECTING CHS. NR 500 AND 520, RELATING TO THE DISPOSAL OF MATERIAL DREDGED FROM THE GREAT LAKES

This is a public hearing on a proposed rule, Board Order WA-18-21, which affects chs. NR 500 and 520, Wis. Adm. Code, relating to the disposal of material dredged from the Great Lakes.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged if you plan to provide spoken comments during the hearing. To pre-register, please save and complete the fillable appearance slip and submit it to kathrynm.stromhiorns@wisconsin.gov. You may also submit written comments on the rule to DNRAdministrativeRulesComme[email protected] by 11:59 p.m. on March 21, 2023. Written comments will have the same weight and effect as spoken testimony presented at the hearing.
