Winter camping workshop to offer outdoor skills training in Rosholt

ROSHOLT — Outdoor enthusiasts of all levels can learn to embrace the cold at a three-day Winter Camping Workshop, set for Dec. 6-8 at the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt.

Hosted by NOW Outdoors, the event will offer hands-on sessions, presentations, and community-building activities focused on winter camping skills.

Participants can expect guidance on essential skills for winter camping, including how to stay comfortable in cold weather and tips for setting up camp.

The workshop, held at the expansive Wisconsin Lions Camp, will offer ample space for tents, hammocks, and hot tents. Indoor accommodations are available for $35 per person per night in bunkrooms for those not ready to sleep outdoors.

NOW Outdoors, known for its seasonal outdoor workshops, is dedicated to fostering nature appreciation and adventure. This year’s event will offer attendees the chance to connect with fellow adventurers and explore the beauty of Wisconsin’s winter landscape.
