What’s that new building on Hwy. 10E?

A new strip mall nears completion on Dec. 4 in the former space of Lynn’s Greenhouse on the 5400 block of U.S. 10.

Stevens Point Associate Planner Kyle Kearns said the building would become home for a number of different companies, to include a location of Harbor Freight and a new Verizon store.

“I’m actually holding a sign permit for some of those companies right now,” Kearns said by phone on Monday.

The new building has a footprint of approximately 22,000-square-feet, Kearns added.

Lynn’s Greenhouse and Garden Center closed earlier this year after more than 75 years in business.
