Water pressure drop briefly affects Plover, Whiting on Saturday night
Metro Wire Staff
Residents in Plover and Whiting experienced low or no water pressure for several minutes on Saturday night, according to residents in both municipalities.
Matt Saloun, Plover’s water systems manager, said the issue lasted between seven and 10 minutes and was caused by “an equipment issue.”
Plover Fire Chief Mark Deaver said some larger facilities, including McCain Foods, reported false fire alarms as a result of the pressure drop.
