Village kicks off second round of annual yard waste collection

The village of Plover has begun its second round of annual fall leaf and yard waste collection, with additional dates scheduled for residents to drop off yard waste.

According to Plover Public Works Manager Scott Klemm, the village completed its fall brush pickup on Oct. 18.

The second round of village-wide leaf pickup starts at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 28.

“We will be starting in the Clar-Re Drive area and heading north from there on the east side of Hoover Ave.,” Klemm said. “Residents can feel free to check the progress at the end of each day on the village website.

The village has also expanded the hours of the Yard Waste Drop-off Site at 4496 Coolidge Ave., with extra days added in early November. However, Klemm said that the site will be closed on Nov. 7. The final day for yard waste drop-off is Nov. 9.

The Yard Waste Drop-off Site hours are as follows:

  • Monday, Oct. 21: 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 24: 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 28 to Friday, Nov. 1: 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 2: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 4 to Wednesday, Nov. 6: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Friday, Nov. 8: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 9: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (final day of the year)
