Deputy Florian Chojnacki, Jr., (pronounced why-not-ski) is challenging Portage Co. Sheriff Mike Lukas for the highest law enforcement seat in the county. The winner of the Aug. 9 primary will advance to the November election to face Republican candidate Scott Kenneth Noble.
