Victor “Vic” Arnulfo Ramon, 41
Victor “Vic” Arnulfo Ramon, 41, of Stevens Point, passed away unexpectedly at home on Dec. 7, 2024.
Vic was born May 9, 1983, in Stevens Point, the son of the late Arnulfo Frausto Ramon and Phyllis (née Erickson) Ramon. He lived his entire life in the area, forming countless friendships along the way.
Known for his vibrant personality, Vic was the life of the party. He had a gift for finding the silver lining in any situation, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him. Vic cherished time with his cousins, Kurt and Harley, whom he considered brothers, and shared a special bond with his sister.
An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Vic worked hard to own his Harley, affectionately named Black Betty, and spent many hours riding alone or with friends. He was a kind and adventurous soul who enjoyed time at the family cabin, road trips to Michigan with his mother, and outdoor activities like fishing and hunting. He was also a devoted fan of WWE and music.
Vic was a dedicated father who prioritized his two children, Layla and Vincent, above all else. He will be remembered for his honesty, care, patience, and strong will.
Vic is survived by his children, Layla and Vincent Ramon of Amherst; his mother, Phyllis Ramon of Almond; his sisters, Heather (Gabriel) Lopez of Bancroft and Spring (Marty) Varga of Wausau; and his brother, John “Bruce” Shaw of Stevens Point. He is further survived by the mother of his children, Patricia Nendze, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnulfo Frausto Ramon; his brother, Alex Ramon; his aunt, Brenda Erickson; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St., Stevens Point. Family and friends may gather to share memories beginning at 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
