UW-Stevens Point to host music concerts in November

STEVENS POINT – The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will present a series of music concerts this November on both its Stevens Point and Marshfield campuses.

Concerts at UW-Stevens Point will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Michelsen Hall at the Noel Fine Arts Center, 1800 Portage St. Tickets are $18 for the general public, $16 for seniors 62 and older, and $10 for youth under 18 and university employees. UW-Stevens Point students may attend free of charge. Events are ticketed unless otherwise noted.

Concerts at UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield will also begin at 7:30 p.m., held in the Helen Connor Laird Theatre, 2000 W. Fifth St., Marshfield. Tickets there are $10 per person.

Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.uwsp.edu, by calling 715-346-4100, or at the campus box office one hour before each performance.

The November concert schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, Nov. 13: UWSP Choir Concert, Stevens Point

  • Friday, Nov. 14: Hub City Winds Concert, UWSP at Marshfield

  • Wednesday, Nov. 19: Wind Symphony Concert, Stevens Point

  • Monday, Nov. 24: Symphonic Wind Ensemble Concert, Stevens Point

  • Tuesday, Nov. 25: Jazz Ensemble Concert, Stevens Point
