Metro Wire Staff

Stevens Point police say a second convicted sex offender is being released back into the community in early April.

Ryan Rozak, 39, is being released from prison on April 4 and will live at 1504 Water St. in Stevens Point. He is joining Antonio Saenz, 55, who is also being released on the same day and will live at the same address.

Rozak is a white man, with balding brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5’11” and weighs about 160 pounds.

Rozak was first convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child in 2005, when he pleaded no contest to having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old female acquaintance.

In 2008, he pleaded guilty to the same charge after having sex with another 13-year-old girl on two occasions, court records say.

Upon release from prison, Rozak will be living at 1504 Water St. in Stevens Point. He will be under supervision of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) and monitored by the Sex Offender Registry Program with the Division of Community Corrections in Portage County

Rozak is also subject to a lifetime GPS monitoring and must register for the rest of his life with the sex offender registry.

Additional conditions of his release include having no unsupervised contact with minors; no contact with the victim; and not to consume drugs. He also is required to comply with all sex offender rules, cooperate with electronic monitoring, and have regular face-to-face contact with local law enforcement.

Rozak’s current address and any change of address will be updated and available online by accessing the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry at https://appsdoc.wi.gov/public.

“Sex offenders have always lived in our communities; but it was not until the Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification Law was enacted that law enforcement was able to share this information with the community. Abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders with NOT be tolerated,” a news release from SPPD reads.
