WIth 100 percent of precincts reporting, three area races have been narrowed down to for the April ballot.
For Portage Co. Executive, incumbent Chris Holman came in last in the three-way race with Eric Olson and Johnson Pavelski. Olson brought in 3,323 votes and Pavelski earned 3,163. Holman, a first-term County Executive, has been eliminated from the spring election with only 2,601 votes.
Charles Grugel loses the primary for Portage County Board, District 14 with 63 votes. Edward H. Morganroth Jr., earned 122 votes, and Pat Keller brought in 116 votes. All three are newcomers.

For Stevens Point City Council, District 1, incumbent Marc Christianson moves on, with 193 votes, to challenger Stephen Klein’s 47 votes. A third candidate, Gracia Day, was eliminated from the spring race with 33 votes.
