Traffic Alert: Plover to undergo street maintenance

PLOVER — The Village of Plover has announced upcoming street maintenance that will affect several local roads starting Thursday, Aug. 15, through Friday, Aug. 16, weather permitting. The work may extend into the following week if inclement weather causes delays.
The maintenance, involving fog coating of bituminous seal coating with stone cover aggregate, will occur between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on the scheduled days. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes to avoid potential traffic delays and to exercise caution around work crews. The village reminds motorists not to drive on fresh oil to prevent damage to both the roads and their vehicles.
Streets scheduled for maintenance include:
- Cleveland Ave. from Maple Dr. to Forest Dr.
- Airline Road from Porter Road to the western village limits
- Patti Drive from Jackson Ave. to Evergreen Dr.
- Maple Dr. from Jackson Dr. to the western terminus
- Wilson Ave. from Maple Dr. to Forest Dr.
- Karrington Place
- Kensington Place from Wilson Ave. to Forest Dr.
- Worthington Place
- Lexington Place
- Pendleton Place
- Cimmaron Court
- Derby Court
- Saddlewood Dr.
- Still Meadow Lane
- Conestoga Trail
- Truman Avenue
- Little Street
- OK Bluff Circle
- Buckskin Lane
The village’s Public Works Manager, Scott Klemm, and Assistant Public Works Manager, Jake Hainzlsperger, will oversee the project. Residents can visit the village’s official website at ploverwi.gov for updates and additional information.
