Tickets go on sale for ‘Wines of the World’ 2024

Tickets are now available for the annual “Wines of the World” event, scheduled for Friday, Nov. 1, from 6-9 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center, 1001 Amber Ave. in Stevens Point.

Guests will have the chance to sample over 100 wines, including local offerings from Sunset Point Winery, and enjoy fine cuisine provided by the Holiday Inn and Rockman’s Catering. Attendees can also try Wisconsin artisan cheeses from Ski’s Meat Market, craft beers from Stevens Point Brewery, O’s Brewing Company, and District 1 Brewing Company, along with handcrafted spirits from Great Northern Distilling.

Live music will be provided by the UW-Stevens Point Alumni Quartet, and the evening will feature a silent auction, a wine pull, and door prizes. Notable prizes include a catered dinner for six from Rockman’s Catering and a handcrafted 14K white gold pendant with a pink tourmaline, designed by Thomas Dailing and donated by Lee Ayers Jewelers.

Tickets are $70 for Business Council members, $75 for prospective members, and $80 on the day of the event. Will Call is also available.
