Thomas “Tom” G. Sipla, 83
Thomas “Tom” G. Sipla, 83, of Stevens Point, died Sunday, June 23, 2024, joining his wife, Donna, in eternal rest.
He was born May 3, 1941, in Fox River Grove, Ill., to George and Anna (née Dedina) Sipla.
Tom married the love of his life, Donna, on Sept. 1, 1962, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven in Wisconsin Rapids. They raised five children and were blessed with eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, passions he shared with his family.
Tom is survived by his children, Katherine M. Eichsteadt-Seidl, Montese L. Choate, Leon M. (Bobbi) Sipla, Christina Ann (Matthew) Kalisz and Patti K. Sipla; his grandchildren, Jordan (Anastasia Conto) Sipla, Zachary (Julianne) Eichsteadt, Athena Nehls, Toni (Chris) Groenier, Anastacia (Cameron) Hansel, Donna (Brandon) Blend, Jocelyn Seidl and Seamus Kalisz; and his great-grandchildren, Nevaeha, Eli, Ellyanna, Michael, Amira, Nova, Evelyn and Adeline.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Donna.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024, at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 800 4th Ave., Stevens Point. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
