Thomas J. Literski, 74

Thomas J. Literski, 74, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully at Whispering Pines on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Thomas was born March 18, 1950, to Eleanor (née Firkus) Volk and Rudolph Literski in Stevens Point. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1969 and completed his pipefitting apprenticeship in January 1980. Thomas worked as a journeyman pipefitter at Consolidated Papers Wisconsin River Division (Stora Enso) for most of his career, retiring in April 2005.

Thomas had a passion for tackling new adventures and projects. His creativity was expressed through acrylic painting, furniture building, and metalwork. He was also an avid outdoorsman, often working on landscaping, and forestry projects, or enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping. Nature was his second home.
