Terry L. Prondzinski, 71
Terry L. Prondzinski, 71, of Stevens Point, died Jan. 5, 2025, at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.
Terry was born Feb. 12, 1953, in Stevens Point to Roman and Lorraine (née Kluck) Prondzinski. He attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1971.
A hard-working man, Terry spent most of his career in construction and was a member of the Laborers Local 330 for 40 years. He retired in 2008 at age 55, dedicating more time to his family and hobbies.
Terry enjoyed following Wisconsin sports teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers, and Green Bay Packers. He loved spending time outdoors and often visited his camper in Woodruff with his wife, Sue. He also enjoyed deer hunting, gardening, and taking scenic drives with his dog, Polly. Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially attending his granddaughter’s sporting events.
He is survived by his wife, Susan “Sue” (née Kawleski) Prondzinski; his daughter, Heather (John) Skibba of Rosholt; and his granddaughters, Kelsey and Kaylee Skibba. He is further survived by his sister, Denice (Ernie) Bielen of Stevens Point, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Debbie and Sandy; a niece, Alison Bielen; and a nephew, Chad Bielen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1709 Wyatt Ave., Stevens Point, with Rev. Jeffrey Hennes officiating. Visitation will be at the church from noon until the time of service. Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery.
