Tavern League of Wisconsin to hold annual conference in Point

The Tavern League of Wisconsin will be celebrating its 87th annual spring conference in Stevens Point.

The conference will be held April 3-6 at The Holiday Inn & Convention Center, 1001 Amber Ave.

The Tavern League of Wisconsin is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to serving the needs of the retail beverage alcohol segment of the hospitality industry across the state.

Members from the 70 local leagues will be in attendance, representing every county in the state, according to the League.

The conference will also offer a chance for new establishments to join the SafeRide program. Since its inception in 2004, the SafeRide program has given over 1,000,000 free rides home from participating TLW member establishments.

Proceeds from this year’s conference will benefit the local Guns N’ Hoses committee, a nonprofit which helps support veteran assistance organizations in the area.
