Tavern League donates to local school

The Portage County Tavern League last week made a donation to a local school.

The League donated $500, with $250 from members and a match from the Wisconsin Tavern League. The funds were donated to Sacred Heart School in Custer.

The funds will help pay for new playground equipment at the school, located at 7379 Church St. in Custer.
