Sue Ann Whitman-Seavers, 63
Sue Ann Whitman-Seavers, of the town of Linwood, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. Sue was 63 years old.
Sue was born on November 28, 1959, in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of Phillip and Dolores (née Patoka) Galloway and grew up in the township of Linwood. She attended local schools and after high school moved to Southern California where she worked in the service industry and met and married her first husband Dwight (Bo) Whitman.
As fate would have it, they later divorced and Sue eventually returned to Wisconsin to find her true love, soulmate, and partner in life, Randy Seavers. And it was this union that paved the way for Sue to find her true calling and purpose – what Sue would tell you is all that really matters — to love and care for family. Sue and Randy raised and nurtured two amazing children – Travis and Trevor.
Eventually, Sue’s world was blessed with grandchildren, Mason and Jace, as well as another one currently on the way. And until her final day, Sue fully immersed herself in and embraced her role as a grandmother.
Sue not only loved her immediate family, but she loved her extended family and friends.
She loved people and she always lit up a room with her sense of humor and pleasant and easygoing demeanor. Her and Randy enjoyed hosting large gatherings ‘down at the creek’ socializing with friends and family and making everlasting memories. Central to those memories will be Sue’s kind, generous and loving spirit. She also loved music and dancing. It took very little to get Sue on the dance floor. She also enjoyed gardening and nature in general.
Sue is survived by her loving soulmate and partner Randy Seavers, her sons Travis (Megan) and Trevor (Kaylee), and her grandchildren Mason and Jace. She leaves behind her siblings Calvin (Betty), Roxanne, Nancy (Chuck), Laurie (John), Sheree (Dan) and Phil (Evelise). And she is also survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
Sue is preceded in death by her brother Michael, her sister Peggy, brothers-in-law Robert, Gary Alan, and Bruce. Also departed are her father and mother, Phillip and Dolores.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 3-6 p.m. at the Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second St., Stevens Point.
