Stevens Point school district seeks citizen for board committee

STEVENS POINT — The Stevens Point Area Public School District is looking for a community member to fill an opening on its Business Services/Human Resources Committee.
The volunteer committee meets monthly to review and discuss the district’s finances and staffing matters, giving residents an opportunity to participate in discussions that help shape school district operations.
Applicants must live within the Stevens Point Area Public School District.
Those interested must submit a signed Declaration of Candidacy and Citizen Member Application by 4 p.m. Friday, July 17. Applications are available at the Bliss Educational Services Center, 1900 Polk St., or on the district’s website at www.pointschools.net.
Completed applications should be submitted to Nicole Baumann, school board secretary, at the Bliss Educational Services Center.
