STEVENS POINT — The City of Stevens Point will hold a public informational meeting to discuss the West River Drive Traffic Study on Thursday, Dec. 12.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the city’s Public Works/Streets Garage Facility, 100 Sixth Ave.
Local officials, property owners, residents, and other interested parties are encouraged to attend.
The meeting will offer an overview of the traffic study and an opportunity to engage with city officials regarding the findings and potential recommendations.
The study was commissioned earlier this year in response to a fatal hit-and-run that took the life of 63-year-old resident Herbert Wievel in March.
