The City of Stevens Point is looking to fill a vacancy on its Redevelopment Authority.

The RA meets as needed to decide issues of blight elimination, urban renewal programs, and planning and implementation of community development programs, acting as an agent of the city.

The committee’s seven members each serve a five-year term on a voluntary basis.

The committee recently discussed the city’s Targeted Area Master plans, along with Brownfield Assessment grant options through the Environmental Protection Agency.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and reside within the city limits. Applications can be found here.
