SPASH swimmers place sixth at Jaguar Invitational; Raczek earns individual win

ASHWAUBENON – The Stevens Point Area Senior High boys swim team finished sixth out of 14 teams at the Jaguar Invitational on Saturday.
The event, held at the Ashwaubenon Community Pool, featured high school swim teams from across the northern and eastern parts of Wisconsin.
Bay Port High School claimed the team title with 533 points, followed by Rhinelander with 299 points and Ashwaubenon in third at 252 points. SPASH ended the meet with 179 points.
Sophomore Tony Raczek delivered a standout performance, taking first place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.67 seconds. He was the only SPASH swimmer to earn an individual event win at the meet.
The team will compete next in its final away conference dual of the season on Tuesday when they travel to Wisconsin Rapids.
