SPASH softball topples Wausau West

SPASH softball defeated Wausau West 5-2 in a home game conference match-up at Woyak Park on Tuesday.

The Panthers started their offense in the first inning with a single by Berkley Lake to bring in an RBI. A three-run third inning had Lake, Jaden Jones and Megan Miklesh driving in runs. Sam Saloun hit a double in the fifth inning to bring in the final SPASH RBI of the game.

Saloun and Eilers led in hitting with both going 3-for-4 at the plate. Saloun tallied two doubles during the game.

Jaden Jones earned a win in the circle and pitched a complete game with seven hits, two runs, and three strikeouts.

The Panthers will travel to Wausau on Thursday taking on Wausau West at 4 p.m.
