SPASH softball earns 20th consecutive WVC title

Panther softball was hot on Thursday in Wausau claiming a 10-0 shutout win over Wausau East in addition to earning the program’s 20th straight WVC title.

Thirteen hits were accumulated during the game by SPASH with a home run hit by Meg Miklish who also hit a double in the game and went 2-for-3 from the plate. Leah Earnest, Kayla Lass, Berkley Lake, and Jenna Eilers all had multiple hits.

Lake and Ashley Schrank led the Panthers in RBIs with two.

Kristin Richter had a gem of a game pitching by going the complete game with only one hit, no runs, and six strikeouts to earn the win in the circle.

SPASH will host Portage this evening at Woyak Park with first pitch slated for 4 p.m.
