SPASH introduces new volleyball coach

SPASH has announced the hiring of Mackenzie Kyle as the new head girls’ volleyball coach.

Mackenzie (née Rechner) Kyle is a 2015 graduate of SPASH high school and participated in volleyball, basketball, and softball during her high school career.

After graduating from SPASH, Kyle attended UW-La Crosse, where she also played volleyball on the women’s team.

Kyle graduated from UW-La Crosse in 2019 with an undergraduate degree in physical education and minor in adapted physical education. She has worked for the Stevens Point School District since August of 2022, teaching physical education at Plover-Whiting Elementary school.

Kyle was previously an assistant girls’ volleyball coach at West Salem High School.

“Hard work and consistency can yield great successes on and off the court,” Kyle said in a news release from SPASH.
