SPASH continues winning streak with shutout over Rapids

SPASH defeated Wisconsin Rapids at Bukolt Park on Friday 7-0, extending its winning streak to four games.
The Panthers tallied twelve hits compared to 4 hits for Wisconsin Rapids. Brady Franz led SPASH in hits by going 4-for-4 at the plate.
A first inning Wisconsin Rapids error allowed Brady Franz to cross the plate to give SPASH an early lead followed by a single from Austin Beyer to score Mason King. The same scenario played out in the third inning to add an additional two runs for the Panthers. Tristan Aldrich singled in the fifth to bring Jack Kelly home. During the sixth inning, Brett Ehr hit a sacrifice fly and Jack Kelly singled to bring in RBIs.
Logan Schulfer started on the mound for the Panthers going six innings with eight strikeouts, four hits, and one walk. Reese Gaber pitched one inning out of the bullpen.
The Panthers will travel to DC Everest on Tuesday with first pitch at 4:30 p.m.
