The Smith Scarabocchio Art Museum has announced a new show featuring a collection of work from a roster of Central Wisconsin residents.

Curated by Abby Doxrude, an arts management intern at the museum, the Love Your Neighbor, Love Yourself exhibit spotlights an array of work created during the pandemic by a compilation of local creatives.

“Art can change people’s perspectives, moods, relationships, and health,” a news release from the museum reads in part. “This exhibit is an ode to nurturing minds and souls through creativity spurred on by a pandemic. The Smith Scarabocchio Art Museum is excited to navigate the beginnings of public art viewings while adapting to the new world.”

Public viewings for Love Your Neighbor, Love Yourself will be hosted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 11 and 13. The show is free and open to the public.

The museum asks all visitors to wear masks and social distance while inside.
