Simplicity head named as chair of national board

Simplicity Credit Union has announced that it’s president and CEO has been chosen to serve as chair on the board of directors for the National Credit Union Foundation.

Patricia Wesenberg began her credit union career in 1981 and was named Simplicity Credit Union President/CEO in 1994.

Wesenberg, who has served on the NCUF Board of Directors since 2015, brings a “wealth of experience,” according to a news release from Simplicity, having served for numerous local and nonprofit organizations, traveled internationally with the World Council of Credit Unions, and previously served as Chair for the Credit Union National Association Board.

The National Credit Union Foundation is the charitable arm of the U.S credit union movement, serving as a catalyst for “change in people’s financial lives.”

Simplicity Credit Union is headquartered in Marshfield, and has 25,000 members from locations in Marshfield, Stevens Point, Plover, Neillsville, and online at simplicity.coop.
